Most of the Rajput Painting Stores provide miniatures and paintings in manuscript forms. In most of the Rajput painting single sheets that can easily be kept in albums were the most preferred mediums. Many Rajput paintings were also done on walls of palaces, inner chambers of the forts, havelis especially the havelis of the Shekhawat.
Usually the Rajput paintings were done by extracting the colors from minerals, plant sources, conch shells. The colors used in these paintings were even derived by processing precious stones, gold and silver. For creating the Rajput paintings the desired colors are created by applying a lengthy process which sometimes even takes a lengthy process, sometimes even taking weeks. The images are created using fine brushes.
