Fresco art is a painting style that is basically done over a wet surface. For making a fresco art the first thing to be done is preparing a smooth limestone batter mixture which could be applied over the stones and within just three to four days the painting is done on the selected surface. During the Nayak period Indian Fresco developed in a different manner in this period Chola frescos were discovered. These painting styles had an element of shaivism into them.
